Our system needs doctors who want to make the world a better place for people, and not only for those who can afford it. Not for the status, not for making it rich fast. Neither for pride nor for praise; because it sounds good that you can announce to others “I’m studying Medicine”.

But just for the simple reason that they honestly want to help others. If you can tell me that with utmost dedication and truth, you have my respect. If not, seriously, get lost and give your place in medical school to someone who deserves it much more than you do.
